June 12, 2026 – February 28, 2027
Drawing from nearly 180 works across multiple collections, this major exhibition examines how artists, architects, and designers in the nineteenth century imagined and represented "the East." Through paintings, photography, textiles, decorative arts, and historical objects, the exhibition explores the complex relationship between cultural fascination, artistic exchange, colonialism, and imagination.
The Metropolitan Museum of Art

June 12 – September 8, 2026
One of New York's most iconic museum spaces will host the work of Alberto Giacometti in a striking new installation.
